Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a permanent full-time Recover at Work Coordinator to support employees through injury and illness, coordinating recovery-at-work plans and managing workers' compensation across a diverse workforce.

Reporting to the Recover at Work Manager, you will collaborate with managers, insurers, rehabilitation providers and HR to deliver timely return-to-work outcomes and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, while benefiting from flexible options and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Experience in workers' compensation, injury management, return-to-work or rehabilitation coordination.
• Sound understanding of workers' compensation legislation and injury management practices.
• Experience managing multiple cases in a high-volume environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage workers' compensation and injury management cases from notification through to resolution.
• Develop and monitor recovery-at-work plans and suitable duties programs.
• Partner with managers, employees and external stakeholders to achieve safe and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
• Manage workers' compensation payment calculations and payroll-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with workers' compensation legislation and reporting obligations.
• Support non-work-related injury and illness management processes.
• Contribute to reporting, audits, continuous improvement initiatives and workforce wellbeing programs.
