Job summary

Sydney Local Health District – Camperdown NSW invites applications for a Recovery at Work Coordinator (Health Manager Level 2). Temporary part-time role (24 hours/week, up to 11 months) at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The role focuses on injury management, return-to-work processes and reporting to managers.

NSW health system experience preferred. The ideal candidate is a qualified health professional accredited by SIRA, with knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation and strong communication

Qualifications

• Qualified health professional or relevant work experience, accredited by SIRA as Return-to-Work Coordinator / Recovery@Work Coordinator.
• Knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation legislation and SIRA guidelines for prevention and management of workplace injuries, with extensive rehabilitation experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, counselling, and clear report writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of Injury Management and Return-To-Work Policy and Procedures for early and safe return to work.
• Initiate, coordinate and monitor the return-to-work process; provide progress reports to Managers.
• Participate in claims management and related administrative tasks.
