Job summary

Altius Group in Adelaide is seeking a Return to Work Coordinator to support injured workers through recovery and facilitate safe returns to work.

You will coordinate early interventions, develop graded return to work plans with employers, and liaise with treating practitioners, insurers and other stakeholders to overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Return to Work Coordinator certification or equivalent.
• Minimum six months in workplace rehabilitation/return to work coordination.
• Experience as a Rehabilitation Consultant or in a related role is valuable.
• Understanding of injury management and return to work practices.
• Knowledge of workers compensation legislation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate early intervention activities after notification or referral.
• Support workers during recovery and return-to-work journey.
• Partner with employers to identify suitable duties and develop graded return-to-work plans.
• Prepare, monitor and review recovery at work plans.
• Liaise with treating practitioners, employers, insurers and other stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain workplace return-to-work programs.
• Attend case conferences and contribute to claim management strategies.
• Identify barriers to recovery and develop practical solutions.
• Educate employers on legislative and compliance responsibilities.
• Contribute to policy/process improvements.
