Job summary

Veolia Australia and New Zealand is seeking a permanent full-time Injury Prevention & Health Coordinator to support injured employees in returning to work and provide health and hygiene compliance guidance to operational management.

You will drive injury prevention and wellbeing initiatives, maximise health management performance through engagement, training, monitoring and continuous improvement, and work as part of a national Injury Prevention & Health team.

Qualifications

• Extensive industry experience and comprehensive understanding of workers compensation legislation.
• Formal Return to Work (RTW) qualification is desired.
• Graduate qualifications in health-related field are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist injured employees to return to work and collaborate with internal operational teams and Veolia self-insurance to achieve outcomes.
• Manage the NSW workers compensation portfolio.
• Design, coordinate and implement injury prevention and wellbeing strategies based on health risk reduction.
• Conduct quality review of health-related pre-employment and periodic medical assessments.
• Identify and report on key health and wellbeing risk factors.
