Nexgen Australia, part of Aussie Broadband, is seeking a motivated Retention Sales Account Manager based in our Sydney office. You will drive client retention, generate qualified meetings, and partner with BDMs to close revenue opportunities.

The role emphasizes proactive retention strategies, high-volume outreach, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve issues while maximizing account value. OTE $130k+ with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or sales retention.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong ability to qualify leads and generate interest over the phone.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of churn reduction tactics and experience implementing them.
• Demonstrated experience in phone-based sales.
• Proactive, self-starting attitude with a keen interest in sales and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for Business Development Managers to close deals.
• Lead generation through outbound calls and prospect research.
• Develop and implement retention strategies to boost loyalty and satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products/services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues promptly.
