Job summary

Seven Media Group (SMG) is seeking a Retention Comms Specialist within the Product & Experience team to design, build and optimize owned-channel campaigns for LiSTNR and 7Plus. You’ll convert retention strategy into timely campaigns and leverage data to improve outcomes.

You will plan journeys across onboarding, engagement, retention and win-back, craft compelling copy, and ensure campaigns meet brand and compliance standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive audience

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CRM, lifecycle, retention or email marketing.
• Experience using marketing automation platforms (Braze or Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred).
• Strong copywriting, segmentation, testing and reporting skills.
• Data-savvy with a customer-first mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with an understanding of compliance and privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, test and deploy owned-channel campaigns and automated customer journeys across email, push notifications and in-app messaging across LiSTNR and 7Plus.
• Deliver lifecycle marketing programs across onboarding, engagement, retention, churn prevention and win-back to drive user growth.
• Create, edit and optimise campaign content, ensuring copy, creative assets, messaging, links and CTAs align with brand guidelines and customer journey objectives.
• Build and maintain audience segments and cohorts, partnering with stakeholders to ensure accurate targeting, data integrity and effective campaign delivery.
• Manage campaign execution and automation, including briefing offshore resources, conducting quality assurance and ensuring all communications meet compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through A/B testing, journey audits and optimisation of communications, templates and customer experiences.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance against KPIs, providing insights and recommendations while collaborating with Product, Marketing, Content and CX teams to support key initiatives and launches.

About the role

The Retention Comms Specialist sits within the Product & Experience team and reports to the Senior Manager AX & Retention. This is a group role, working across both LiSTNR and 7Plus.

The purpose of the role is to plan, build, execute and optimise the owned-channel communications and lifecycle journeys that engage, retain and reactivate our audiences. The Retention Comms Specialist turns the retention strategy into high-quality, on-time campaigns and uses performance data to continually improve them.

What you’ll do

• Plan, build, test and deploy owned-channel campaigns and automated customer journeys across email, push notifications and in-app messaging for LiSTNR and 7plus, aligned to the communications strategy and campaign calendar.
