Job summary

Seven Media Group in Brisbane is seeking a client-focused sales professional to maintain and grow Direct Business portfolios, identify marketing challenges, and propose tailored solutions.

You will proactively search for new clients, deliver compelling presentations, and drive revenue while building lasting relationships. Join SMG to access a wide network across television, radio, publishing and digital.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with emotional intelligence.
• Experience identifying client needs and designing tailored solutions.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to maximise value for both clients and the business.
• 2–3 years of B2B selling and new business development experience with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and growing client portfolios within the Direct Business while identifying marketing challenges and collaborating on solutions.
• Developing an account list from scratch to proactively prospect and search for new clients and business opportunities.
• Delivering exceptional customer service through tailored presentations, proactive client-focused selling, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Proactively prospect new clients, consistently achieving and exceeding sales and market share targets within the allocated portfolio of Direct clients.
• Building strong relationships, staying updated on SMG products, and effectively implement plans to achieve revenue goals.

What does your day to day look like?

• Maintaining and growing client portfolios within the Direct Business while identifying marketing challenges and collaborating on solutions.
• Have experience in developing an account list from scratch in order to proactively prospect and search for new clients and business opportunities.
• Delivering exceptional customer service through tailored presentations, proactive client-focused selling, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Proactively prospect new clients, consistently achieving and exceeding sales and market share targets within the allocated portfolio of Direct clients.
• Building strong relationships, staying updated on SCA products, and effectively implement plans to achieve revenue goals

What you’ll need:

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence, with the ability to engage and influence target audiences.
• Experience in identifying client needs and designing tailored solutions, ideally within the media or advertising industry.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to maximize value for both clients and the business.
• 2-3 years of business-to-business selling and new business development experience, with a proven track record of success
