Job summary

Blackwoods is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a high-performing retail team. You will drive sales, coach staff, build customer relationships and ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

Proven retail leadership experience in similar roles such as Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager or Team Leader.
Strong people leadership with coaching and performance management experience.
Track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
Customer-first mindset with ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Drive sales, gross profit and overall store performance to achieve targets.
Lead, coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional service and sales results.
Build strong customer relationships and ensure outstanding customer experience.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of team members.
Ensure WHS compliance and adherence to company policies and standards.
Oversee day-to-day store operations, including stock management and merchandising, and act as Store Manager when required.
