Job summary

Lifeline Queensland operates under the UnitingCare umbrella and runs a network of charity retail stores. The Retail Supervisor will lead a store, coach staff and volunteers, and ensure excellent customer service while driving profitability to support crisis services.

The role emphasizes staff development, merchandising, pricing strategy, and customer engagement, with a focus on delivering Lifeline’s mission in Queensland through store leadership and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience with coaching and mentoring
• Exceptional customer service delivery and exceed expectations
• Willingness to learn store roles including visual presentation and stock control
• Create a values-driven, diverse and safe employment environment
• Communicate promotional event information to maximise results
• Identify trends and customer feedback opportunities

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion for Lifeline and promote its services in the community
• Manage all aspects of retail operations and delegate as needed to meet targets
• Work with staff and volunteers on pricing, merchandising, events and selling techniques
• Maintain effective communication with team, regional support and external stakeholders
• Identify issues and opportunities from selling and customer feedback
• Set objectives and prioritise tasks aligned to business strategy
• Coach and develop direct reports with goals linked to performance
