Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Retail Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience supervising, training, and motivating staff in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
• Knowledge of workplace health, safety, security, and hygiene requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive prompt service and quality products.
• Respond to customer enquiries and complaints regarding products and services.
• Plan and prepare work schedules and assign staff to duties.
• Assist with interviewing, training, supervising, evaluating, and supporting staff performance.
• Instruct staff on customer service procedures and handling complex enquiries.
• Manage customer returns and determine actions per procedures.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and order products and supplies.
• Ensure products are correctly priced, displayed and presented.
• Supervise day-to-day store operations for efficient customer service.
• Ensure health, safety, security and hygiene procedures are implemented.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring customers receive prompt service and quality products
• Responding to customer enquiries and complaints regarding products and services
• Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties
• Assisting with interviewing, training, supervising, evaluating, and supporting staff performance
• Instructing staff on customer service procedures and handling complex customer enquiries
• Managing customer returns and determining appropriate action in accordance with company procedures
• Monitoring stock levels, conducting stocktakes, and ordering products and supplies
• Ensuring products are correctly priced, displayed, and presented
• Supervising the day-to-day operation of the store to ensure efficient customer service
• Ensuring workplace health, safety, security, and hygiene procedures are implemented and maintained

About You

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum
