Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail sales staff to ensure smooth store operations.
• Maintain stock levels, order inventory, and manage deliveries.
• Ensure the store and petrol station comply with safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Recruit, train and support staff in sales techniques, customer service, and product knowledge.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and assist in achieving business targets.
• Assign duties to staff as per the work schedules.
• Open and close the store, handle cash registers, and ensure accurate cash reconciliation.
• Implement merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities in line with company policies.
• Oversee fuel operations, including safety checks and compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a retail supervisory or management role (petrol or grocery experience preferred).
• Relevant qualification in Business, Management, or Retail (desirable but not essential).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage a small team in a fast‑paced environment.
