Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Retail Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience supervising, training, and motivating staff in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
• Knowledge of workplace health, safety, security, and hygiene requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive prompt service and quality products.
• Respond to customer enquiries and complaints regarding products and services.
• Plan and prepare work schedules and assign staff to duties.
• Assist with interviewing, training, supervising, evaluating, and supporting staff performance.
• Instruct staff on customer service procedures and handling complex enquiries.
• Manage customer returns and determine actions per procedures.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and order products and supplies.
• Ensure products are correctly priced, displayed and presented.
• Supervise day-to-day store operations for efficient customer service.
• Ensure health, safety, security and hygiene procedures are implemented.
