Job summary

ALDI is looking for an Assistant Store Manager in Sydney to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and inspire a high-performing team. You will support the Store Manager across rostering, reporting, and running a multi-million-dollar business with an emphasis on efficiency and service.

You will train and mentor team members, uphold safety and cleanliness standards, manage stock and merchandising, and contribute to a rotating roster that includes weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Develop the next generation of leaders by training and coaching your team.
• Keep the store well-presented, safe, and clean.
• Manage stock, monitoring inventory and reducing losses.
• Work with your team on tills, shelving, and merchandising special buys.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement ideas.
• Ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction, even during leave periods.
