ALDI Stores Australia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New South Wales to drive daily operations, sales, and team motivation for a multi-million-dollar store. You will partner with the Store Manager, coach staff, and manage rostering while maintaining high standards of service.

The role offers market-leading remuneration, a 45-hour weekly contract, comprehensive training, and a flexible rotating roster to cover weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication to inspire teammates and delight customers.
• Proven ability to train, motivate and coach staff to perform at their best.

Responsibilities

• Develop the next generation of leaders by coaching team members.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and stocked to the highest standards.
• Manage stock, inventory, and losses with vigilance.
• Work with the team on registers, stocking shelves and merchandising.
• Identify opportunities to improve store performance and customer experience.
• Ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction, including when Store Manager is away.
• Step up to run the store in the Store Manager's absence.
