Job summary

Poolside on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a full-time retail manager to lead our small family-run team. This hands-on role focuses on delivering excellent service in a dynamic store environment.

You will test pool water, help customers, manage stock and invoicing, and contribute to smoother operations. Previous retail experience and pool knowledge are beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisation and admin skills.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to train and lead a small team when required.
• Physically fit and able to lift 20 kg salt bags.

Responsibilities

• Perform computerised pool water testing (training provided).
• Assist customers with retail sales.
• Manage stock ordering, rotation and merchandising.
• Invoicing tasks.
• Answer phone and email enquiries and handle complaints professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organised retail environment.
• Assist with implementing more efficient procedures.

Are you organised, reliable, and someone who enjoys working with people? We are a small, family run business on the Sunshine Coast and are looking for a full time retail manager to join our team.

This is a hands on, customer- facing role in a dynamic retail environment, ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing computerised pool water testing (training provided)
• Assisting customers with retail sales
• Handling stock ordering, rotation and merchandising
• Invoicing
• Responding to phone and email enquiries and complaints in a friendly and professional manor
• Maintaining a clean, organised retail environment
• Assisting with the implementation of more efficient procedures

What We're Looking For:

• Physically fit- able to lift 20kg salt bags
• Available for some Saturday work
• Quick learner with a strong memory
• Excellent organisation and admin skills
• Previous retail experience is a bonus
• Experience with MYOB or other accounting software a bonus
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude
• Self motivated and able to work independently
• A good team leader and able to provide training when required
• Owning a pool or previous experience with pools is a bonus (but not essential)
• A calm and patient approach with customers
