Job summary

Saputo’s Cohuna AG Warehouse team in Cohuna, VIC is seeking a Rural Sales Assistant to provide genuine customer service, handle POS, stock displays and assist with deliveries on-site. You’ll join a small, close-knit team with 3,000 colleagues nationwide and contribute to a growing rural retail operation.

Key attributes include experience in retail or agriculture, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or agriculture is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service with strong relationship-building skills.
• MS Office proficiency is expected.
• Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
• Exposure to stock control is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide genuine customer service and help customers with pricing and product queries.
• Process point of sale (POS) transactions accurately.
• Assist with store setup and merchandise displays.
• Receive inwards goods, unpack orders and deliveries.
• Perform general banking tasks and cash handling where required.
• Occasionally perform heavy lifting tasks on site.

Join our friendly and growing team as a Rural Sales Assistant in Cohuna, VIC. In this role, you will be part of a small, close-knit team on site and over 3,000 colleagues across Australia.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing genuine customer service and assisting customers with pricing and product queries.
• Processing point of sale (POS) transactions.
• Assisting with store setup and merchandise displays.
• Receiving inwards goods, unpacking orders, and deliveries.
• Performing general banking tasks.
• Occasionally performing heavy lifting tasks.

About you

• Experience in retail, agriculture or both.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and ability to build strong relationships.
• Exposure to stock control is advantageous but not essential.
• Proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office.
• Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
