Job summary

Saputo, via AG Warehouse in Maffra, VIC, is seeking a Rural Sales Assistant to join a small, on-site team. You will help customers, handle POS transactions, and support stock and displays while contributing to community-focused dairy retail services.

You will work with a close-knit group across Australia, engaging with farming communities and leveraging MS Office for daily tasks. A forklift license and POS familiarity are valued for progression and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, agriculture or both.
• Excellent communication, customer service and ability to build strong relationships.
• Proficiency with MS Office; forklift license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing genuine customer service and assisting customers with pricing and product queries.
• Processing point of sale (POS) transactions.
• Assisting with store setup and merchandise displays.
• Receiving inwards goods, unpacking orders, and deliveries.
• Performing general banking tasks.
• Occasionally performing heavy lifting tasks.

Join our friendly and growing team as a Rural Sales Assistant in Maffra, VIC. In this role, you will be part of a small, close-knit team on site and over 3,000 colleagues across Australia.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing genuine customer service and assisting customers with pricing and product queries.




• Processing point of sale (POS) transactions.




• Assisting with store setup and merchandise displays.




• Receiving inwards goods, unpacking orders, and deliveries.




• Performing general banking tasks.




• Occasionally performing heavy lifting tasks.

About you

• Experience in retail, agriculture or both.




• Excellent communication, customer service, and ability to build strong relationships.




• Exposure to stock control is advantageous but not essential.




• Proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office.




• Forklift license is desirable but not essential
