Job summary

AG Warehouse is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Cohuna store in Victoria. You will help lead the team on the shop floor, build strong customer relationships, and step into the Store Manager role when needed.

This hands-on role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, stock control, and smooth store operations within a well‑established regional business backed by Saputo Dairy Australia.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in retail, sales, or merchandising (rural or agricultural retail preferred).
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Practical understanding of stock control and store operations.
• Confident, reliable, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
• Certificate in retail, sales, merchandising, frontline management, or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with daily store operations and team leadership
• Assist with stock control, inventory management, and supplier coordination
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Provide high-quality sales support and product advice in a rural retail setting
• Assist with implementing policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Being an Assistant Store Manager with AG Warehouse

We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in the day‑to‑day operations of our Cohuna store. This is a hands‑on role focused on supporting the team, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth store operations. You’ll act as the Store Manager’s key support, helping lead the team on the shop floor, maintaining strong customer relationships, and stepping into the Store Manager role when required.
