Job summary

Wattyl in Cairns is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant for a casual position at our Cairns Store. You will assist customers, handle sales, and help with paint tinting and stock management in a busy retail environment.

The role requires a proactive team player with good customer service and physical capability for manual handling up to 28kg. Uniforms and training are provided, and pay is above award rates for a casual role.

• Operating machinery as needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer queries and orders
• Process sales accurately (cash handling/EFTPOS)
• Assist in the tinting and mixing of paint
• Perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods
• Using Pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling
• Help maintain a clean, tidy store environment

As the Retail Sales Assistant you will:

• Attend to customer queries and orders
