Job summary

Wattyl is seeking a Store Manager for the Browns Plains Store in Brisbane. This permanent full-time role leads day-to-day store operations, delivers exceptional customer service and drives sales growth in a hands-on retail environment.

You will manage stock, visual merchandising, safety practices and a team of staff to meet targets while engaging with customers from the construction sector. A strong service mindset and physical capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background in a store environment (hospitality, retail or similar).
• Demonstrate a high level of competence in managing retail store operations.
• Sound working knowledge of safety management and improvement.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines.
• Strong skills in people management and customer engagement.
• This is a physical role with lifting up to 32 kg for the heaviest tin of paint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Browns Plains store operates safely and effectively at all times.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales revenue, profit targets and increased market share.
• Assist customers face to face and over the phone, keeping them informed of promotional activity and to understand their business needs.
• Perform stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and inward goods.
• Using Pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling.
• Maintain visual merchandising and store presentations to the required standards.

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Store Manager to join our Browns Plains Store in a Permanent Full Time position.

As the Store Manager you will be:

• Responsible for ensuring the Browns Plainsstore operates safely and effectively at all times
• Delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales revenue, profit targets and increased market share.
• Assisting our customers face to face and over the phone keeping them informed of promotional activity and to gain an understanding of their business needs and wants.
• You will also perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods
