Job summary

Wattyl Townsville is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager for our Townsville Store in a Permanent Full Time role. The position is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with no nights, and offers development opportunities within a well known brand.

You will lead in customer service, processing sales, tinting and mixing paint, and managing stock through regular stock takes, replenishment and inbound/outbound logistics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years previous experience processing inbound and outbound stock.
• Proven experience in high volume inventory control.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sound computer skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
• Great time management and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Customer service and processing sales.

• Use a forklift, pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling.

As the Assistant Store Manager you will be involved in:

Customer service and processing sales

Tinting and mixing of paint

You will perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods

Use a forklift, pallet jacks , walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling

Support Store Manager with admin related tasks and other dutiesas required

In order to be considered you will have:

3-5 years previous experience processing inbound and outbound stock
