Job summary

Ryda.com in Sydney is seeking a motivated Retail Sales & Administration team member. This hands-on role blends floor sales, answering customer enquiries by phone, and general administrative duties.

You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service on the shop floor, process sales, handle data entry, and support stock and orders while helping to create a positive experience for customers in-store and online.

This is a varied, hands‑on role combining retail floor sales, answering customer enquiries over the phone and general administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting customers with enquiries and product recommendations over the phone
• Helping customers on the retail floor and providing friendly, knowledgeable service
• Answering incoming calls and responding to customer questions about products, pricing and availability
• Processing sales and assisting with general retail operations
• Performing general administration and data entry tasks
• Assisting with customer orders, stock enquiries and other day-to-day tasks
• Supporting the team to ensure customers have a positive experience both in-store and online

About you

• Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with customers
• Customer-focused, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Organised, reliable and able to manage a variety of tasks
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• A team player who can also work independently when required
• Experience or knowledge of consumer electronics, car accessories or automotive products would be highly regarded, but is not essential
• A genuine interest in technology and a willingness to learn about our products
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, administration or a similar role would be an advantage
