Job summary

Rev-Bikes, located in Nunawading, is seeking a motivated Sales & Admin Assistant for a flexible part-time or full-time role. You will be the face of the store, helping customers choose e-bikes and accessories while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations behind the scenes.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Admin Assistant to join our small team at Rev-Bikes in Nunawading. Part time or full time considered, with plenty of flexibility to suit the right candidate.

Rev-Bikes sell & service e Bikes, e Trikes and e Tandems (and a growing range of Adaptive e Bikes), as well as installing low-powered Conversion Kits to electrify existing bicycles. Our customers vary widely, but are often retirees and people with various disabilities.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining customer sales, retail support, and administrative duties. You will be the face of the store—helping customers find the right eBikes and accessories, while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in-store, via phone, and email
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable bicycles and accessories
• Drive sales through consultative selling and product knowledge
• Handle customer enquiries and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction
• Support after-sales service and customer retention

Administration & Operations

• Process sales accurately using POS systems
• Maintain customer records and CRM updates
• Assist with invoicing, quotes, and general admin tasks
• Support store presentation, merchandising, and displays

Stock & Inventory Support

• Assist with stock management, tagging, and receiving deliveries
• Support stocktakes and inventory reporting
• Monitor and report low stock levels

Team Support

• Work closely with the sales and workshop teams
• Support marketing promotions and in-store campaigns
• Contribute to a positive and high-performing team culture

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about bikes & the cycling lifestyle (essential to have at least some experience with bicycles)
• Confident in customer service and/or retail sales
• Clear communicator (excellent English) with a friendly and professional approach
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers, ideally experienced with Xero & Shopify (or happy to learn)
• Sales-driven, with a willingness to learn and grow
• Reliable, mature, proactive, and a strong team player
