Job summary

Railway Hotel Marian is seeking an energetic Retail Manager to lead two busy outlets—the Bottlemart drive-through and the Marian Town Centre bottleshop. You will drive sales, maintain stock levels, and ensure exceptional customer service across both sites.

You will manage stock ordering and SOH, roster staff within budget, and report to the Venue Manager while building strong relationships with customers and suppliers. A forklift licence is preferred and a current RSA is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a retail bottleshop and drive-through venue.
• Current RSA certification.
• Ability to live and work permanently in Australia.
• Ability to work varied hours and be physically fit.
• Strong stock ordering and SOH management.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams across two sites and report to Venue Manager.
• Build relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Oversee stock ordering, merchandising, and SOH levels.
• Manage monthly stocktakes and rostering within budget.
• Ensure safe operations and maintain high store presentation.

The Railway Hotel Marian is seeking an energetic, self-motivated and experienced Retail Manager, who is committed to deliver an exceptional customer experience.We run two sites, our busy drive through Bottlemart at the Hotel, and our bottleshop in Marian Town Centre. Both sites have a wide product range, great clientele and a bright future, and are looking for a retail bottleshop manager to lead the team.

The successful Retail Manager will:

• have the ability to liaise and report to Key Stake Holders and the Venue Manager
• build strong relationships with customers/suppliers/fellow staff
• have extensive knowledge in Wine, Spirits & Beer trends
• maintain a high level of store presentation and merchandising
• have a keen eye and attention to detail
• have previous experience in ordering stock to meet customer demands and SOH requirements
• have strong stock management principles and practices
• assist in the monthly stocktake for the venue
• have previous experience in rostering staff and managing hours within a budget
• work a variety of hours that meet the demands of the business
• be hands on and physically fit to manage stock
• have excellent communication and show composure under pressure
• have or be able to obtain a forklift licence
• Ideally the Retail Manager will meet and exceed customer expectations, drive sales and build relationships and customer base.
