Job summary

Waymark Hotels in Queensland is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee two busy bottle shops connected to Lees Hotel Ingham, The Original Pub with No Beer. You will lead day-to-day operations, grow sales, and maintain stock control and compliance across both sites.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in retail or liquor management, strong leadership and communication skills, RSA certification, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' management experience within a retail, liquor, or bottle shop environment.
• Proven experience in the liquor, FMCG, retail, or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Sound knowledge of liquor products and current RSA certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
• Experience managing multiple sites or teams will be highly regarded.
