Job summary

Dhanshree Pty Ltd in NSW is seeking a full-time Retail Manager to lead our store in Taree. You will report to the owner and supervise the team, maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities include managing store operations, budgeting, cash handling, stock levels, merchandising, and implementing seasonal marketing strategies to drive sales. Requirements: AQF associate diploma or higher, 18+ months in multi-outlet retail at a managerial level, people management

Qualifications

• AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or higher is required.
• 18+ months' multi-outlet retail managerial experience.
• At least 18 months' people management experience.
• At least 18 months' experience managing stock control, stock levels and shrinkage.
• Experience in store merchandising and product placement.
• Experience with retail management and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing the overall image and standards of the store, including adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Fully accountable for store operations including food, rosters, budgeting and cash handling.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure ingredients and products are replenished.
• Monitor and record incoming and outgoing business expenses.
• Ensure the store meets financial targets and operates within budgets.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with employment, hygiene, health and safety requirements.
• Recruiting, training, and developing team members as required.
• Implement seasonal marketing strategies to boost sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organisation.

Job description

Dhanshree Pty Ltd is a popular hospitality establishment with onsite retail operations. Due to a manpower need, they require a full time Retail Manager to manage their store.

The Role

The retail manager will report to the owner and all store team members will report directly to them. The successful applicant will be someone who can and will maintain key relationships with store team members, head office staff, customers, and suppliers.

This role is a full time position with an annual salary set at $80,000 plus superannuation. The role is based at Taree NSW.

Responsibilities

• Managing the overall image and standards of the store, including implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Fully accountable for all store operations criteria including food, rosters, budgeting and cash handling.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure ingredients and products are constantly replenished.
• Monitor and record incoming and outgoing business expenses.
• Ensure the store meets financial targets and stays within operational budgets.
• Supervise and ensure that all team members comply with policies and standards.
• Ensure store and staff compliance with company and legislative employment, hygiene, health and safety requirements.
• Recruiting, training, and developing competent and exceptional team members, as required.
• Implement seasonal marketing strategies to promote and boost sales of goods.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organisation.
• Building sales through the sales of box topping, wobble boards and car tops.
• Monitor the maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicles.
• Foster a fun and can-do attitude

Requirements

• A relevant AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in relevant field
• Minimum 18 months' experience multi outlet retail experience at a Managerial level
• At least 18 months people management experience
• At least 18 months' in managing inventory, stock levels, and reducing shrinkage
• At least 18 months' in store merchandising, ensuring product placement aligns with store layout and customer preferences
• At least 18 months' experience in using retail management systems, POS systems,
• Minimum 18 months' experience managing stock control, supplier ordering, wastage reduction and product availability
• Strong operational management background
• Ability to embrace change at a store level and instil a culture of excitement
• Demonstrated VM / volume stock management abilities
• Good time management and attention to detail
