Job summary

Yono Group in Australia seeks an experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily store operations across our retail outlets in Sydney. You will lead a team, drive sales, manage stock, and ensure exceptional customer service.

The role requires strong retail operations knowledge, team leadership, and a proactive approach to cost control and compliance with health, safety and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in retail, hospitality or store management.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision skills.
• Good understanding of stock control, sales performance and day-to-day retail operations.
• Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the stores and ensure efficient and consistent service delivery.
• Supervise, roster, train and support Beverage Attendants to maintain high standards of performance and customer service.
• Monitor product mix, stock levels and inventory requirements to ensure sufficient supplies while minimising waste.
• Manage purchasing and liaise with suppliers to maintain appropriate stock levels and product availability.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance, operating expenses and other financial transactions.
• Prepare and manage store budgets and implement cost-control measures.
• Develop and implement pricing, promotional and marketing activities in line with business objectives and brand requirements.
• Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation, cleanliness and customer service.
• Handle escalated customer enquiries and complaints and ensure issues are resolved professionally.
• Maintain accurate records relating to stock, sales and store operations.
• Ensure stores comply with workplace health and safety, food safety and other relevant regulatory requirements.
