Job summary

BelgraviaPRO on South Stradbroke Island seeks an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to lead our hospitality team at the island campground restaurant. The role is full-time and hands-on, with a focus on guest experiences, staff development and high service standards.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in hospitality, 2+ years in supervisory roles, barista skills, and a proactive leadership style. Weekend work and flexible rosters are required within a warm, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in hospitality with frontline/FOH experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or senior FOH role.
• Proven barista skills and passion for coffee.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and hands-on service approach.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team and support Kitchen staff.
• Oversee day-to-day service, opening/closing duties.
• Maintain guest satisfaction through friendly, professional service.
• Ensure presentation, cleanliness and service standards are met.
• Create rosters, manage workplace safety, assist with food/beverage prep as needed.
• Manage cash handling and contribute to front-of-house performance.

The Role

South Stradbroke Island is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Supervisor to join our team full-time.

Nestled in South Stradbroke island, our restaurant is known for its warm hospitality, great coffee, and relaxed yet professional atmosphere. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences while supporting and inspiring their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team, and support Kitchen team.
• Daily Operations: Oversee smooth day-to-day service, including opening and closing duties.
• Customer Service: Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through friendly, professional, and attentive service.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure presentation, cleanliness, and service standards are consistently maintained.
• Staff Management: Create rosters, uphold workplace safety, and assist with food and beverage preparation when required.
• Financial Accountability: Manage cash handling and contribute to the café’s front-of-house performance and efficiency.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years of hospitality experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role.
• Proven barista skills and a passion for coffee and café culture.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
