Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in hospitality, with ≥2 years in supervising front-of-house.
• Proven barista skills and a passion for coffee.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team, and support Kitchen team.
• Oversee smooth day-to-day service, including opening and closing duties.
• Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through friendly, professional, and attentive service.
• Ensure presentation, cleanliness, and service standards are consistently maintained.
• Create rosters, uphold workplace safety, and assist with food and beverage preparation when required.
• Manage cash handling and contribute to the café’s front-of-house performance and efficiency.

South Stradebroke Island is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Supervisor to join our team full-time.

Nestled in the heart of spa country, our restaurant is known for its warm hospitality, great coffee, and relaxed yet professional atmosphere. We’re looking for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences while supporting and inspiring their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team, and support Kitchen team.

Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a hands‑on approach to service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.

Will be required if successful:

• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR
• Current Police Check
