Job summary

LH & TW Pty Ltd, operating an Oporto restaurant at Majura Park Shopping Centre in Majura, ACT, is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead day-to-day operations and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will recruit and supervise staff, manage stock and costs, ensure food safety and brand standards, and drive sales to meet KPIs. The role offers a salary of 79,500–82,000 AUD plus Super and requires AQF associate level qualification and 3+ years in a similar role.

Qualifications

• Minimum AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant field.
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the Oporto restaurant to ensure efficient service and smooth business operations.
• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff, including preparing rosters and allocating duties.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with workplace policies, procedures and service standards.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints and feedback.
• Oversee inventory management, stock ordering, supplier coordination and stock control to minimise wastage.
• Monitor sales performance, revenue, labour costs and other operating expenses to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain appropriate food preparation, storage, cleanliness and restaurant presentation standards.
• Implement promotional activities and strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Prepare operational reports and communicate business performance, staffing and operational issues to management.
• Ensure the restaurant complies with brand standards and operational procedures.
