Job summary

Three Blue Ducks in Bellingen is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our busy venue, overseeing front and back of house operations and driving service excellence in a casual, vibrant setting.

The role requires at least two years of managerial experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 for a permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations.

• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer enquiries.
• Support recruiting, hiring, supervision, scheduling, development, mentoring and training of hourly employees.
• Manage revenue and costs in line with budget and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and regulations.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations.
• Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction.
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer enquiries.
• Support recruiting, hiring, supervision, scheduling, development, mentoring and training of hourly employees.
• Proper managing and reporting of all revenue and costs ensuring they are in line with the budget and/or guidelines.
• Ensure that company policies and procedures, safety and other laws, regulations, and requirements are implemented and followed.
• Complete opening and closing procedures
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management
• A minimum of two years' managerial experience working in a fast pace, high-volume restaurant
• Good communication skills
• Outstanding customer relations

Salary Expectation: $75,000 to $85,000 Full-time and permanent position.
