Location: Byron Bay, NSW
Hours: Casual, 3–5 shifts per week (mix of AM and PM shifts), immediate start
We’re looking for an experienced and friendly Resort Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus, great communication skills, and a genuine interest in making guests feel welcome from check-in to check-out.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and feedback.
Make on-the-spot decisions to resolve guest issues and ensure a smooth stay.
Manage bookings via phone, email, and online channels.
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs confidently using the RMS Reservation System.
Calmly and effectively manage challenging or difficult guest situations.
Work a mix of AM (7am–2:30pm) and PM (2pm–10pm) shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
Share local knowledge and provide recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Communicate effectively with guests, management, and colleagues.
Contribute ideas to improve daily operations and guest satisfaction.
At least 1 year of experience in a hotel, resort, or accommodation front office role.
Experience with RMS Reservation System is highly regarded.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Reliable, professional, and guest-focused.
Local area knowledge of Byron Bay is an advantage.
