Job summary

Elements of Byron is seeking a friendly and professional receptionist to be the face of our resort's front desk. You will provide warm, personalised service and set the tone for every guest's stay, ensuring memorable experiences from check-in to check-out.

This casual role offers up to 25+ hours per week on a 7-day rotating roster. You should be flexible, reliable and available to work weekends and public holidays in our beautiful Byron Bay location.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service at front desk and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Experience in 4-5 star resort/front office environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Opera Cloud.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
• Full availability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Remain calm and effective in emergency or high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out with warmth.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure seamless experiences.
• Maintain front desk area and systems (e.g., Opera Cloud).
• Handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
