Job summary

G'day Group's Wilpena Resort is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead a large, multifaceted property within Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park. You will oversee accommodation, tours, F&B, retail, maintenance and guest services, driving performance and a culture of high standards.

Leading a team of around 60, you will manage budgets, rostering, recruitment and cost control while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a resort, tourism, accommodation or large hospitality operation.
• Current driver's license is essential.
• RSA, RP accreditation and First Aid certification or ability to obtain them.
• Experience with F&B systems and RMS or comparable PMS.
• Strong rostering, recruitment, budgeting, reporting and cost control experience.
• Ability to lead and develop large, diverse teams in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead, engage and develop a large team across multiple departments.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of a large resort property.
• Collaborate with GM to deliver budgets and improve commercial performance.
• Manage rostering, recruitment and workforce planning.
• Oversee inventory, procurement and supplier coordination.
• Ensure WHS and compliance across the operation.
• Maintain high service standards through guest feedback and surveys.
• Be a hands-on leader who resolves issues quickly.
