Job summary

Salexo Consulting is seeking a hands-on Residential Project Sales Manager for architectural hardware in Sydney. You will identify and secure new residential projects, build relationships with builders, developers and architects, and drive product selection to convert opportunities into live projects.

The role requires a proven BDM/project sales track record, strong industry networks in residential construction, and the ability to manage a territory end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in BDM, project sales or territory sales.
• Strong relationships within the residential construction industry.
• Track record of winning new business and opening new accounts.
• Experience dealing with builders, developers and/or architects.
• Understanding of the residential construction process.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Drive to manage your own territory and build opportunities from the ground up.
• Experience within architectural hardware or related residential products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new residential projects and opportunities.
• Build relationships with builders, developers, architects and designers.
• Develop new accounts and grow project opportunities.
• Get involved early in projects and influence product selection.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through to project delivery.
• Build and maintain a strong project pipeline.
• Attend builder meetings, project sites, showrooms and industry events.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects are converted and delivered successfully.
