Job summary

PPG is seeking an Account Manager to join the Residential team, managing a well-established territory across Sydney. This is a relationship-focused role partnering with builders, painting contractors and trade customers to deliver products, service and support for success.

The role is not transactional; you’ll build trust, identify opportunities, and become a valued partner who customers depend on daily. Work from home when not meeting customers on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, territory management or B2B sales.
• Industry knowledge from paints, coatings, decorative products, building materials or closely aligned sector.
• Understand the needs of builders, contractors, tradespeople and residential construction customers.
• Hold a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a well-established customer portfolio across Western Sydney.
• Build trusted relationships with residential builders, painting contractors and trade customers.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and win new business; partner with customers to understand their challenges and provide solutions.
• Execute structured territory and call-cycle plans to maximise customer engagement.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Use CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities and maintain strong territory discipline.
• Help strengthen PPG's position within the residential construction market.
