Carinity Brookfield Green in Australia is seeking a Chef to lead the kitchen and dining rooms within a residential aged care community. You will create fresh, high-quality meals that are nutritious and enjoyable, supporting residents’ wellbeing and daily dining experience.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:36 PM, with opportunities to collaborate with care staff and oversee kitchen staff while maintaining food safety standards.

Formación

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Experience with large-volume food production, preferably fresh cook.
• Knowledge of modified diets and food safety standards.
• A compassionate, resident-focused approach.
• Previous experience in Aged Care/Hospital kitchen is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare high-quality, fresh meals that meet residents’ dietary requirements and personal preferences.
• Collaborate with clinical and care staff to accommodate individual resident needs and uphold meal choice and nutrition standards.
• Provide support and guidance to kitchen staff, contributing to a positive and respectful team environment.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and always adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
