Arcare is seeking a Head Chef to lead the dinner service and overall kitchen operations within a leading Australian aged care provider. You will plan menus, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure high standards of safety and quality while managing inventory and budgets.

You will collaborate with dietitians to analyse nutrition and tailor meals to residents’ health needs. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, on-site at Arcare facilities across VIC.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery).
• Food Safety Supervisor Certification.
• Australian Working Rights and NDIs Worker Screening Check requirements.

Responsabilités

• Menu planning and design of nutritious, diverse menus for residents.
• Meal preparation using fresh ingredients with proper food handling and safety.
• Quality control to ensure taste, appearance and portions meet standards.
• Inventory and budget management to source ingredients cost-effectively and reduce waste.
• Nutritional analysis with dietitians to ensure well-balanced meals.
