Job summary

Accor in Sydney is seeking a Reservations Manager to lead the Reservations team, optimise revenue, and deliver outstanding guest service. You will oversee daily operations, ensure accuracy and implement robust procedures to drive efficiency.

The role requires leadership, hospitality experience and proficiency with reservation systems, with emphasis on accuracy, communication and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Opera PMS, GDS, and Microsoft Office/Outlook.
• Sound understanding of hotel operations, reservation processes and revenue management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the Reservations team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Oversee and coordinate daily reservations operations for accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and implement effective reservation procedures and processes.
• Manage reservations using Opera PMS, GDS and other online systems.
• Collaborate with Revenue Manager to support revenue optimisation and financial goals.
• Maintain accurate reservation records, reporting and system information.
• Build strong relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining operational excellence.
