Quantum Support Services in Victoria is seeking Renters Rights Service Intake & Triage Workers to act as first contact for clients in person, by phone or online. You will conduct initial screening, determine eligibility and prioritise urgent issues under the Residential Tenancies Act 1997.

You will triage client needs, provide information and practical assistance, manage intake waitlists, and follow up with clients to ensure timely support.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Community Services or related field.
• Experience delivering intake, information, referral or support services.
• Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act 1997.
• Experience attending Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).
• Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence, Working With Children Check and Police Check.

Responsabilités

• Act as a first point of contact for Renters Rights program clients in person, by phone or online/referral.
• Conduct initial screening and needs assessment to determine eligibility and urgency.
• Perform triage to identify client needs and priority issues.
• Provide information, resources and practical assistance to clients for self-advocacy.
• Manage intake waitlists and timely client follow-up.
• Advise on eligibility and support options under tenancy programs.
