Verkada Inc. in Australia is seeking a technically adept solutions architect to interface directly with customers and partners through the sales process.

You will analyse business and technical requirements, overcome objections, and help design deployments with Verkada products, acting as a trusted technical advisor to territory account reps. The role combines independent work with rapid learning in a remote setup, based in Perth, Western Australia, and entails up to 25% travel to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information and Computer Technology, Cybersecurity or related Engineering degree.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs and L2 devices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective presentation abilities.
• Experience with IT infrastructure, Linux operating systems, APIs, Python and other coding languages preferred.
• Industry certifications are a plus: Network+, Security+, CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.

Responsibilities

• Be the trusted technical advisor to key customer stakeholders: CTOs, CISOs, IT Executives, Security Engineers, Network Engineers, Head of Physical Security, etc.
• Utilize technical expertise to understand and analyse customer requirements to formulate and design system solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales to assess opportunities and translate business needs into specifications for technical solutions.
• Lead product demonstrations and deliver engaging presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Act as the Verkada technical Subject Matter Expert, collaborating with Product, Support, Marketing and Enablement teams.
• 25% travel may be required.
