Job summary

Holiday Rental Specialists is seeking a Reservations Agent to support guest enquiries and bookings from a remote location in Australia. You will manage reservations end-to-end, assist with pricing and ensure a high standard of guest service across multiple channels.

Applicants will have experience in hospitality or travel, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with the wider team.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations, customer service, travel or hospitality.
• Strong communication, proactive problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservation enquiries and bookings across phone, email and other channels.
• Convert enquiries into bookings by understanding guest needs and recommending properties.
• Provide clear, timely and friendly communication throughout the booking process.
• Process payments, manage booking changes and maintain accurate records.
• Handle guest questions and resolve booking issues with professionalism.
• Build understanding of our property portfolio, systems and processes.
• Collaborate with property management, guest services and operations teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve reservations and contribute to team performance.
• Support the team through peak periods with attention to detail and collaboration.
• Help increase direct bookings by building relationships with corporate travel agents.
• Assist with revenue management tasks to optimize prices across the portfolio.
