Datacom is seeking a seasoned Endpoint Engineering Specialist – Remote to join our global client network from a home office. The role targets a mid-level structural engineer with strong precast concrete expertise, working on innovative products for international projects.

Responsibilities include designing precast components, producing detailed manufacture-ready drawings, performing advanced structural analyses, mentoring junior engineers, and driving best-practice processes across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of proven experience in structural engineering with a focus on precast.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative precast concrete products.
• Create and review detailed structural drawings and 'Issued For Manufacture' documentation.
• Contribute to New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to implementation.
• Conduct advanced structural calculations and analysis for complex precast elements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize design efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
