Job summary

Employment Hero is seeking a Payroll Implementation Consultant to lead payroll installations for clients, interface with project teams, and ensure accurate, compliant outcomes for Australian employers.

You’ll apply best practices, interpret complex awards and agreements, and drive successful deployment while maintaining strong client relationships in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll requirements and compliance.
• Experience with customer-facing payroll implementations is highly desirable.
• Exposure to multiple payroll softwares and accounting platforms helps configure different client setups.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for customers during payroll implementations and collaborate with project managers and platform specialists.
• Apply payroll best practices to client implementations and interpret Australian modern awards and enterprise agreements.
• Conduct root cause analyses to suggest improvements within product functionality.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and conduct needs-based, outcome-driven conversations.
• Build and manage client relationships as the platform is configured for their use.
• Coordinate with internal teams to troubleshoot and ensure delivery accuracy.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time within project scope and data is kept current.
