Job summary

Employment Hero is seeking a Payroll Business Partner to join our remote-first team. You will manage end-to-end payroll cycles for multiple clients, ensure accuracy, compliance with Australian payroll laws, and act as a trusted outsourced advisor.

You will leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, improve data security, and deliver exceptional service to clients and their employees while collaborating across cross-functional teams and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years payroll experience.
• Australian payroll legislation and end-to-end processing experience is preferred.
• Diverse payroll award knowledge.
• Client-facing and/or outsourced payroll experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly client pay runs.
• Providing excellent and proactive customer service to payroll clients and employees.
• Performing full payroll tasks including onboarding, auditing, reconciliations, terminations, superannuation.
• Ensuring data is managed securely and in line with EH policies.
• Keeping data in business systems accurate and up to date.
• Building relationships with clients as an outsourced partner.
• Liaising with clients via phone, email, and in person.
• Promoting open communication and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Facilitating regular meetings to align objectives and milestones.
• Using AI to streamline payroll workflows and reduce manual processing.
