Job summary

Employment Hero is hiring a Payroll Implementation Consultant to join our remote-first team. You will gather client requirements, interpret Australian payroll rules, and implement our Payroll product for customers with a cross-functional team.

You will work with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes, manage change, and maintain high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of Australian payroll requirements and legislation.
• Experience with customer facing payroll implementations is highly desirable.
• Exposure to multiple payroll systems to understand configurations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for customers during payroll implementations with a project team.
• Apply payroll best practice and interpret Australian awards and agreements.
• Engage stakeholders, manage change, and communicate clearly with non-experts.
• Coordinate with product, support, and implementations teams for delivery.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and within project scope.
• Build relationships with clients and assist with troubleshooting and queries.
