Job summary

Employment Hero is hiring an Implementation Consultant to lead end-to-end HR and Payroll platform implementations for our clients. You will gather requirements, configure systems, and ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand payroll and labour laws, while acting as the primary client contact.

This remote-first role requires strong communication, multi-client management, training delivery, and cross-functional collaboration with SMEs, project coordinators, and technical teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Australian Payroll legislation and Australian payroll processing.
• 2+ years of combined experience in HR or Payroll implementations.
• Exposure to other HR or payroll software and system configurations.
• Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously, meeting critical deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate clients.
• Experience delivering customer training and providing technical support is highly regarded.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Implementation: Manage the implementation of both HR and Payroll platforms for clients, ensuring all solutions meet their specific needs.
• Consultancy and Training: Deliver comprehensive training and best practice guidance for the HR and Payroll platforms.
• System Configuration: Gather requirements and configure HR and payroll systems, ensuring compliance with legislation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with SMEs, project coordinators, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed analysis and provide recommendations to optimise platform functionality.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships with high satisfaction.
• Legislative Compliance: Educate clients on HR and payroll legislation and help configure platforms accordingly.
• Process Improvement: Review and enhance implementation processes to improve efficiency.
