Responsabilités

• Insurance Verification and Patient Records: Verify patient insurance coverage before appointments and maintain accurate insurance records in the practice management system.
• Claims Review and Correction: Review rejected or unpaid claims; identify issues and document corrections and actions.
• Remittance Posting and Payment Processing: Post insurer payments and adjustments; record patient responsibility amounts and monitor for discrepancies.
• Payment Reconciliation and Account Review: Reconcile payments with remittance reports; review balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Insurance Follow-Up: Contact insurance companies to check claim status and follow up on delays or denials.
