Job summary

Fugro seeks an IT Support Engineer for Remote Operations & Connectivity to support marine operations across the APAC region from Perth. You will deliver hands-on L1/L2 IT/OT support for remote operations, monitor and resolve incidents, and maintain system documentation while collaborating with global Deployment and ROC teams.

The role involves occasional travel to vessels and ROC locations to support operational needs and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience providing hands-on L1/L2 IT/OT support for remote operations.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot and resolve incidents in real-time across multiple systems.
• Strong documentation skills and cross-functional collaboration with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on L1/L2 IT/OT support for Remote Operations Centre and vessel operations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, acting as escalation point for complex issues.
• Document systems, networks, and procedures; support maintenance and updates.
• Collaborate with global teams, vendors and stakeholders to deploy and improve remote operations solutions.
