Job summary

Fugro invites an experienced IT Support Engineer to join the Perth-based Remote Operations Centre. The role provides hands-on L1/L2 support across IT and OT systems, networks, and monitoring platforms enabling vessel operations and geodata workflows.

Occasional regional travel to ROC sites and vessels is required, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement. You will work with global Deployment and ROC teams, implementing, optimizing, and supporting remote operations solutions and system deployments

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Experience providing L2 IT/OT support in operational or remote environments.
• Familiarity with network troubleshooting, monitoring tools, and incident handling.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on L1/L2 IT/OT support for Remote Operations Centre and vessels.
• Monitor and resolve incidents and service requests, acting as escalation point for complex issues.
• Provide guidance on applications and remote operations system considerations.
• Perform maintenance tasks including patching, updates, audits and backups.
• Document systems, diagrams and inventories clearly for global teams.
• Collaborate with global teams and vendors to deploy and improve solutions.
